Like Honda, Kawasaki chooses to use KYB components on the 450 and Showa on the 250. Not a problem, we have both types dialed. Each year the KXF's have gotten better, we have the technology to make them great. Without alot of bells and whistles, we focus on making them handle better while drasticly improving suspension performance.

2006-2010 KXF 250/450

FORKS - Are completely reworked to stay up in the stroke, provide plusher action and improved bottoming resistance. Rebound valving is matched to correct spring rate and then refilled with the just the right amount of oil. ($195 + parts) new seals/scrapers/bushings ($45 + parts) stiffer springs ($110)

2006-2010 KXF 450 KYB

SHOCK - This shock has been a problem from the start. Not that it works horrible, it just allows the rear of the bike ride too low in the stroke. This causes the front end to push and not steer well. We use a special valve inside the shock that helps hold the rear end up without using an overly stiff spring or valving. ($245 + oil) new seal/bushing ($25 + parts) stiffer spring ($129)

SHOCK - Your shock is torn down, cleaned, revalved to the latest specs, re-oiled, all air bled out, and recharged with nitrogen. The result? Awesome performance! ($195 + oil) new seals/bushing ($25 + parts) stiffer spring if required ($129)
